From Aime:
The short answer is if someone has been printing all along and suddenly cannot print by swiping their card, they should login via the Alternate LogIn button on the MFD panel. Our experience has been such where this solves the problem, and the print job can be released.

The longer answer has to do with someone getting a new one-card from AuxServices and the synchronization between the onecard office and the papercut server is on a delay and is scheduled to happen overnight. In this case the card swipe will not function but the manual login will. This week there was a glitch with the AuxServices side of this process, and the outcome is that a few new cards have not synchronized over to our PaperCut Server. Again the Alternate Login will work for these folks.

We see this from time to time. Let me know if you have any further questions and please share this with your student staff.

I will put up a notice on the MFDs reminding students of this.
