Is this happening for every file you try to print or just some? Sometime large files-especially large PDFs--can take longer to print. One thing that can help is to try printing them as images:
-Open the file in Acrobat+Reader
-Click File > Print
-Click Advanced
-In the Advanced screen, select Print As Image.
