There are Backgammon and Chess boards in the Info Commons, octagon room down the hall that way.
You might also try connecting the Renegades, an MHC student org, dedicated to role playing, card, + board games. See their games. See their web site for more info: www.mtholyoke.edu/org/renegades/index.html
Hampshire College library has an extensive board game collection (They teach game design. You can borrow these, but have to return it to Hampshire in person to check them out/ return them. (helps for keeping track of the pieces!). )
You can browse their games, using the Five College Catalog's visual Browse feature. Go to http://fcaw.library.umass.edu/F/
find the visual browse box (on right side of screen) and click on the "More..." link. In the visual browse screen, check on the browse menu and select Board Games.
