Do you mean the bronze sculpture on the 6th floor landing outside the Whiting Alcove? This welded bronze sculpture titled "An Artist's Life" was created by Leonard DeLonga (1925-1991), who was a professor of Art at MHC from 1964 until 1991. He dedicated the piece to the students of MHC. We find the sculpture endlessly fascinating -- you find something new every time you look at it!
